Archives Image Licensing

If you wish to publish an image from any of our records (including via websites) you will need to seek permission and acknowledge Tyne and Wear Archives as the source. This includes publication within books, journals, magazines, exhibitions, websites, and media broadcasts

Our licensing charges are calculated according to the type of use, please contact us with details of your requirements at archives@northeastmuseums.org.uk 

Re-use of images is permitted where copyright permissions allow, or where you have received the permission of the copyright owner.
